Pedicabs as a Mobile Film Platform

Commercial film crews love using our pedicabs for video production and still photography in San Francisco. Unlike golf carts, pedicabs do not require additional permitting and can operate in parks and on paths where motorized vehicles are prohibited. Our rates are competitive and we are frequently a lower cost option than a steadicam rickshaw or cart rental.

Film grips and operators have been consistently impressed by how much better a camera-rigged pedicab performs than a traditional steadicam rickshaw. There’s significantly more room for the operator to work, and the ride is remarkably smooth and stable.

Whenever possible we include a pedicab driver with film industry experience to help your shoot roll smoothly.

Please note that at this time we do not include rigging equipment. Suction cups work very well on smooth fiberglass body.
